A 10,000 acre wildlife preservation center, The Wilds offers refuge to over 25 rare and endangered animal species from Asia, Africa and North America. The center offers visitors what they call Personal Adventure and Conservation Experiences (PACE), a program offering visitors a chance to build their own wildlife education experiences, taking open-air guided safaris or sunset safaris through the open range habitats, visiting the Mid-Sized Carnivore Conservation Center, taking in the Butterfly Habitat or bird-watch at the Birding Station. The Wilds also offers terrific freshwater fishing opportunities as well as mountain biking on an array of challenging trails. It is located in Geurnsey County, just outside the village of Cumberland.
